You can become a member of bodyOptimise from wherever you are as our healthy eating plan makes slimming internationally easy!  

Because Food Optimising is all about using basic, non-branded food (such as meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruit and grains) you’ve got everything you need to cook up a healthy feast - wherever you are in the world!

Some common Food Optimising items we take for granted here in the UK (eg Quorn, fromage frais, Quark) aren’t always available in other countries – but it’s still a piece of (low-Syn) cake to optimise! There are lots of easy (and Free!) alternatives that can be used instead…

Very low fat or 0% fat cream cheese, soft cheese and yogurt can be used in place of quark, fromage frais and cottage cheese. As for Quorn, you’ll find alternative vegetarian meat substitute brands on your Syns lists.

You’ll find a recipe translator at the bottom right hand corner of every recipe page so if you’re mystified by marrow or confused by coley – check out the description with this handy tool.

In the Getting Started section you’ll find a basic list of food products available in countries including Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. You’ll also find the products that are applicable for your country in the drop-down boxes within the Food Diary.

If your country isn't amongst these lists, you should find that many of the products mentioned in the UK lists are available to you. Alternatively you can select a brand that is the most alike, (eg supermarket’s own version of Bran Flakes) as the nutrition content is likely to be very similar.

Food Optimising really is the most flexible and generous eating plan around, so you’ll soon be seeing a slimmer you, wherever in the world you are!!
